The horizontal Nora single-axle mixer Nora is the best machine
to obtain high quality concrete in big quantities.
Many years of experience and research led to the creation of a mixer improved
in all aspects and without defects of other types.
Mixing and discharge have been optimised; in a very short time, Nora single-axle
mixer can produce perfectly homogeneous concrete and make a complete discharge.
The anti-wear coating resistance is incomparable.
It does not need special maintenance. It is very simple and fast.
The absorbed power is low; for the same concrete output, the installed power
and relative energetic consumption costs are considerably lower compared
to other mixer types.
Mechanical components are commercial and therefore easily available for customers.
Nora single-axle mixer is perfect for mixing cyclopean concrete for dams and
big civil works with sizes up to 180 mm, and it is ideal for production of prefabricated
elements, thanks to the hygrometric system to control mixing moisture.

Mixing is obtained thanks to 2 big helices, each covering
70% of the tank surface during rotation.
In the tank upper part, there are aggregate and cement inlets and the channel
with feed nozzles for water and additives. The wide inspection and maintenance ports are equipped with a special safety
lock device.
In A and C type models it is installed one electric motor, in B type models there are two electric motors. In C type models the motorization
has a modular compact design with shaft mounted gear unit.
Power transmission is obtained by means of V belts. The reduction gear is epicyclic.
In smaller C type models, motorization is compact and modularised, with hunting
reduction gear. The sealing system on mixing shaft is composed by a mechanical guard and a thick
gasket soaked in grease.
All mixers are equipped with automatic timed greasing system which continuously
supplies the chambers in front of gaskets and chambers of journal bearings. Automatic
washing system at 60 bars is installed on request.
